New scandal at Eurovision: what’s wrong with the winner of the contest

The actress went rogue, but that didn’t stop her from winning.

Another scandal circulated at the Eurovision Song Contest. The winner of the show in 2023 was the singer who performed a medley of several songs at once, one of which is known to the whole world.

The competition rules prohibit the singing of previously released compositions. But Lorin from Sweden decided to play a trick by combining two musical themes in her track at the same time. Surprisingly, this did not bother anyone, so the 39-year-old performer won.

According to music critics, Lauryn’s song “Tattoo” contains an excerpt from Abba’s hit song “The Winner Takes It All”. In addition, some heard in the composition the main motif of the soundtrack from the series “Kadetstvo”, performed by Mika Newton, writes KP.

The scandal was hushed up, as none of the aforementioned musicians did not comment on the situation for one reason or another. As a result, Lorin scored 583 points and became the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time. She won first prize for this in 2012.
