In an interview with the Popcornnews portal, the gerontologist noted that no one can make accurate predictions for Kostomarov’s recovery and his future work. Before patients can fit prostheses, they need a long rehabilitation and only then should they think about the ice, says the doctor.
“It is not that simple. In the next year it is possible, but in the beginning it is necessary to do a lot of prosthesis operations. Some people recover quickly and then play wheelchair hockey, walk long distances. There are patients who are psychologically depressed being and not being able to cope for a long time, ”concluded Yuri Serebryansky.
