The Cinema Audio Society has set key dates for the 2023-24 awards season. The 60th Annual CAS Awards will be presented live and in person on Saturday, March 2. The location is not yet known.
The nominations for film, TV, production and post-production products will be announced on January 9. See the full timeline below.
“The CAS looks forward to recognizing the best contributions of 2023 to the collaborative art of film and television through sound mixing,” CAS President Peter Kurland said in a statement. “We will also look at the milestones of our rich 60-year history that advance the art of auditory appreciation.”
The winners of the CAS Career Achievement Award and CAS Filmmaker Award will be announced later in the year.

Thursday 19 October: Registration forms available online
Thursday, November 30 (5 p.m. PT): Entries must be submitted online
Tuesday, December 19: Voting for nominations begins online
Tuesday, January 2 (5 p.m. PT): Voting for nomination closes online
Tuesday 9 January: Announcement of final nominees in each category
Friday 19 January: Nomination errors and grace period
Thursday 8 February: Final voting begins online
Tuesday, February 20 (5 p.m. PT): Final voting closes online
