On Wednesday, Neighbors released the final cast photo of the show’s beloved characters having a picnic in a park.
The series announced in a tweet in March that it would halt production on the long-running soap opera.

Network 10 addressed the end of the series in a statement to Australian media in March, admitting it was a “difficult decision”.
A spokesperson for the network said, “Today, Fremantle confirmed that Neighbors will cease production in June after nearly 37 years and nearly 9,000 episodes.” Said.
“This difficult decision came after the unsuccessful search for a British alternative television partner.”
“We know this is a huge disappointment for our fantastic and loyal fans, because for all of us on the team. Thank you for all your messages and support and we promise to end the show on an incredible height. From now on, we congratulate the neighbors,” he said.
They added that the series “will not air on 10 Peach after September 2022” and stated that 10 years of broadcasting has come to an end.
“A beloved fixture on our program for over 35 years, it has been a staple of Australian television series and Australian cultural exports,” he added.
