Holly Willoughby returns to This Morning on Monday after contracting shingles.
The 42-year-old TV presenter told her fans she was feeling “so much better” on Friday after being out all week recovering from the illness.
She was due to welcome 61-year-old Phillip Schofield to the famous ITV daytime show bench after he took time off amid his brother Tim’s sexual assault trial.
Former The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes, 34, stood alongside Phillip in front of Holly after Holly told fans she was unwell on Sunday but it was confirmed she would be back next week.
She wrote on Instagram: “Hi… Just wanted to let you know that I may be out for the rest of the week due to shingles.

An ITV rep confirmed Holly’s return to MailOnline, while Holly’s co-star Alison Hammond also announced her return at the end of Friday’s show, saying: “On Monday’s show Holly will be back so don’t worry . She’ll be here on Monday!’
Holly gave fans a health update on Friday after being absent from This Morning with shingles.
Although she didn’t confirm the day, she did suggest that she’ll be back on screen as soon as she says she’s “feeling so much better.”
The host took to her Instagram Stories to thank her This Morning colleague Dermot O’Leary, 49, for sending her some soup and a Reuben sandwich while she recovered.
Sharing part of her meal, she wrote: “Thank you @dermotoleary for the cutest delivery of chicken soup and baked meat…just what I needed.”
‘I feel so much better. Thank you all for your good wishes.’
Holly’s confirmation that she is on the mend comes after This Morning fans predicted she would leave the show after missing out on Phillip Schofield’s return.

Rochelle was parachuted in at the 11th hour on Monday to replace Holly after the presenter confirmed she had shingles.
With Holly forced to stay at home until her symptoms subside, Rochelle was there to welcome Phillip back to Van Morning after his own long absence.
The presenter sat on the couch for the first time since his pedophile brother Timothy, a former school teacher, was found guilty of 11 counts of sex offenses against a boy.
Still, fans on Twitter wondered if Holly would ever return to the show, admitting they couldn’t see the two co-hosting for long.

She and Phillip came under fire last year when they were accused of having “VIP access” to “pass the Queen in State” and skipping the queue, a claim the stars and ITV have both denied.
According to one report, Holly was “devastated” by the public reception and the network’s “decision to remain silent.”
As a result, The Mirror confirmed that ITV do not have the “confidence” they previously had about Holly’s contract, which expires in December.
The station would work on a “buffer package” for the presenter to keep her at the station.
A source told the publication: “The Queuegate backlash was absolutely devastating for Holly, but what made things worse was the feeling that it was mismanaged.
ITV’s decision to remain silent before finally issuing a statement was frustrating as it felt like they were slamming the door after the horse had bolted.
