Zoe Saldana knew the task for the European premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 at Disneyland Paris on April 22. In the back of the event were her Marvel co-stars. Karen Gillan (Nebula), Vin Diesel (Groot) e Pom Clementieff (Pray to the Lord). Newcomers to the franchise included Poultry, Chukwudi IwujiAND Maria Bakalovawho respectively play the roles of Adam Warlock, High Evolutionary and Cosmo the Spacedog.
Since this is Zoe’s third attempt at Gamora (not counting her appearances in other Marvel movies), you’d think she’d be an old pro at the grueling process of prosthetics and green makeup. Speaking EXCLUSIVELY with hollywood lifehowever, the actress said she’s still getting used to it.
“I can’t change it. I need to do this. It’s a bittersweet process, because it’s bitter for how long it takes, and the transformation is a little painful, but it’s sweet because it brings such incredible results to the story that James Pistola created,” Zoe explained. “So I feel like I’m in a bad mood every morning, but I gasp, because we’re teaching a lot and telling great stories and telling great jokes and working with great humans.”
She added, “Then come home and take a nice hot shower, lay back and wake up to do it all over again.”
