In a gorgeous carousel of photos posted to Simone’s Instagram, the couple look amazing in their wedding gown as they share some sweet kisses shortly after the ceremony. “Yes officially Owen,” Simone wrote, while her husband commented, “Wife received huge ring ❤️💍 Day 1.”
Simone and Jonathan’s wedding comes after they got engaged in February 2022. The lovebirds have been very open about their relationship in interviews and social media posts, even sharing photos of the moment Jonathan got down on one knee. “THE EASIEST YES,” Simone captioned the Instagram post that included photos of her. “I can’t wait to spend an eternity with you, you are everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married BRIDEGROOM!”
Jonathan also shared the happy news of the engagement with his own message. “Woke up this morning with a girlfriend,” he wrote, adding that Simone had no idea she was going to propose. Simone and her now-husband took to Instagram to show off their marriage certificate on Apr. 15, 2023. “Almost time to say ‘I do,'” they captioned the adorable selfie with the official document. And just weeks before, Simone celebrated her pending nuptials with a gorgeous bachelorette party surrounded by friends and family. “I can’t stop thinking about how great my bachelorette party was,” she captioned the April 7 clip of hers bachelorette party.
She also went to Belize on Feb. 23 to celebrate with her closest friends and kick off her bachelorette weekend. “Thank you @alaiabelize for hosting the most epic bachelorette party we’ve ever had!!!!!! It was pretty awesome,” Simone captioned the video of their island celebrations. She later shared a silly video of her wedding party in “uniform” during the festivities. “Belize, we are ready for you,” she captioned the clip two.The blushing bride was also ready to embrace her new last name, as her bachelorette-style veil, paired with her jeans, read: “Mrs. Owens!

The new husband and wife began dating in early 2020, and following their engagement in March 2022, Simone revealed that she had found her wedding dress. “I said yes to dresses,” she captioned a photo of her which shows her holding up a sign revealing that she said yes at a bridal shop in Los Angeles, California. She wore a white tank top and Daisy Dukes with white sneakers as she grinned from ear to ear.
During the wedding planning process, Simone told fans she was thrilled to have it all together and didn’t think she was going to be a “bride,” as other stress brides have termed themselves. “So far the wedding planning is going well, it’s very exciting for me, I’m obsessed,” she wrote in one of her Instagram Stories. “I don’t think she’s going to be a girl because I’m making sure I know exactly what I want. I will definitely hire a planner as well. [because] Between that and building a house, our hands are full.
