While Ariana and Daniel didn’t meet until their wedding, they reportedly have mutual friends and have also worked in the hospitality industry. Ariana’s friends think Daniel is “a breath of fresh air,” according to Eastern time. They’re probably much closer to Daniel than they are to Tom, 39, who Ariana dumped after nine years of dating once Ariana found out about their relationship.

It was Coachella 2 on April 15 when Ariana was seen making out with her new boyfriend. After the hot make-out session, Eastern time reported that Daniel supported Ariana as the Bravo star got inked at the California festival. After the weekend ended, Ariana and Daniel were seen kissing, again, at the LAX airport as Daniel flew back to New York. Daniel is an East Coast influencer and fitness instructor.

After Ariana’s Coachella hookup made headlines, Tom was arrested for tmz extension at the airport and shared his feelings about Ariana’s new relationship. “Yeah, I love it,” Tom said of the kissing pics. The musician also said that he “really” wants Ariana to step away from their relationship and is “so happy” that she has found a new man. In the same interview, Tom, who also attended Coachella, declined to say whether he would see Raquel, 28, who was reportedly checked into a mental health facility last week. Raquel’s rep revealed to the PEOPLE on April 14, that the reality star’s decision to seek treatment came before news of her relationship with Tom broke on March 3.

“Raquel and her family made a decision before the affair was discovered that she would register with a volunteer mental health counseling center,” the rep told the agency. Raquel’s team also clarified that her treatment was not a “rehabilitation” program but rather “mental health and trauma therapy.” “She had planned to attend the pre-meeting, but she decided she wanted to end her engagement with filming,” she continued the statement. “Bravo and the production were aware of and supported him in his journey to better mental health.”
