Alexandra Burke has opened up about her debilitating IBS symptoms – a day after announcing her pregnancy.

The 34-year-old singer announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she and football boyfriend Darren Randolph are expecting baby number two.

She was complimented by Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning as she came forward for the first time since the announcement.

The former X Factor star was already glowing as she donned a stunning brown maxi dress which she accessorized with a Louis Vuitton belt.

The hitmaker has continued to share details about her battle with IBS in hopes of raising awareness of its symptoms.

She said: “The joke was that after having all these symptoms I also thought it was anxiety or something else that was causing it. Fear played a big part in this.

“I used to skip meals before shows because all the pain came after I ate. I would be hungry and then put on a show.

“It was just so bad and it got to the point where I was like, ‘I can’t take it anymore’.”

She revealed that she started wrestling in her early twenties, shortly after appearing on the X Factor.

She admitted: “It got to the point where I couldn’t control myself and it was an out-of-body experience,” but added that she was too embarrassed to talk about it at the time, even though she was “in pain.” . .” had ‘.

Alexandra, who is from Islington, rose to fame in 2008 when she won the X Factor aged 19 and duetted with superstar Beyoncé in the final.

After 15 years of unstoppable hard graft, the singer charted with Bad Boys, Start Without You and Broken Heels and came runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
