The document is basically a blessing from the judge that Bragg needed to announce that there is a real charge on the alleged payment of secret money to stormy Daniel, Of the Washington Post. He reveals that the grand jury has returned “a real bill” against the former reality star and allows the DA to reveal it. The charges against Trump are not discussed in the document and the indictment itself will remain sealed pending Trump’s impeachment, according to the news source.
The custody hearing is scheduled for this Tuesday, according to NBC News, where the former commander-in-chief is expected to turn himself into Bragg’s office. “Tonight, we contacted Mr. Trump to arrange for his delivery to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office for prosecution in a [New York] Supreme Court indictment, which remains confidential,” a spokesperson for the district attorney said, via NBC. “Directions will be provided when the indictment date is selected.”

Trump’s speech came nearly two weeks after he said he expected to be arrested before an indictment. Though he didn’t detail why he was allegedly arrested at the time, the case involves the $130,000 payment Daniels received to try to stop him from sharing Daniels’ story about her alleged affair with Trump during his campaign. of 2016. michael coen he paid the artist to try to silence her, with a promise from Trump that he would reimburse her.
