Abbie Chatfield has announced that she is changing her name.
The 27-year-old TV and radio host announced on the Fair Enough podcast this week that she is dropping her last name and taking her mother’s maiden name.
But the influencer confirmed that she will keep “Chatfield” for professional purposes.
“I’m actually changing my last name to my mum’s maiden name,” she told hosts Lachlan and Jaxon Fairbairn.
“But I won’t tell anyone what it is.”

However, Abbie said she “couldn’t change her professional name because she was afraid fans would find her mother’s maiden name too difficult to pronounce.
“My mother’s maiden name is … It’s not hard to pronounce, but it’s not easy when you look at it, so ‘Chatfield’ is much easier,” she added.
“Marketing, people! Don’t lose your stage name!”
