After saying goodbye to Ellie in “Up,” Carl finds love in a heartwarming Pixar short

In 2009, ‘Up: A High Adventure’ was released in theaters, a film remembered by many as funny and familiar, however, it has one of the saddest beginnings that Pixar and Disney have produced, which will be directly related to this company’s new short film of animation, we refer to ‘Carl date’.

If you are one of those who remember the tape of ‘Up: a tall adventure’, surely you have in mind Ellie, the wife of one of the protagonists of this film released in 2009, of course, we are referring to the angry Carl Fredricksena character who in this film ends up living an entire journey also thanks to a boy scout.

The first few minutes of “Up: Una Aventura de Altura” show us how unfortunately Ellie dies, which leads Carl to live a grumpy life until this little explorer boy knocks on his door, and now pixar revealed that this grumpy character is trying to rediscover love in the new short film.

Pixar and Disney showed the first image of ‘Carl date’, which, as the name indicates, will show the grumpy protagonist of ‘Up: A High Adventure’, trying to give love a chance, showing how he gets back into the world of dating, a production that aims to be very emotional taking into consideration of what is shown in the 2009 film.

It is worth mentioning that since its inception, Pixar has been making great short films starring some of the most loved characters from its films, and no doubt Carl Fredricksen is one of them, so this little animated short has started to attract the interest of many fans of the seventh art, and the best thing is that it will come with the movie ‘Elementary’.

“Carl’s Date” and “Elements” come together

This film is the new animated film produced by Pixar and Disney, a film that aims to be a huge success, which has already confirmed its release date for mid-2023, and the short film ‘Carl date’ will be released together with this production, i.e. it will be shown before ‘Elemental’ in each big screen performance.

‘Elementary’ has been confirmed to hit theaters in the US next Friday, June 16, on the same date as ‘Carl date’, it is worth mentioning that for the moment the mouse company has not disclosed when this tape will arrive in the Latin American region, but it is very likely that it will also be in June.
