In the 90’s “Santa Barbara” was the main soap opera loved by millions of people. She went on TV from 1984 to 1993 and repeated it a few more times after that. As many as 2137 45-minute episodes were endured by the fans of the series, and at the end they demanded more, as many strings remained unfinished.
One of the main storylines is a romantic love story between the rich blonde beauty Eden Capwell and the poor but honest cop Cruz Castillo. It all ended in a far from happy ending: Eden had a split personality, she tried to kill her own mother and disappeared to no one knows where, and Cruz, grieving a little, fell in love with Eden’s younger sister and eventually left for Mexico all the way .
As Channel Five said, the actors had no “santabarbara” in real life. Hey Martinez (now 74 years old) has been acting since his successful series in films such as General Hospital, Criminal Minds, Curse of Chucky and Longmire. He is happily married, often nostalgic and posts images of Santa Barbara on social media.

As for Marcy Walker (she is 61), she even received an Emmy award in 1989 for this role in the series. After that, the actress starred in the soap opera Guiding Light and continued to film in All My Children.
