The Flash hits theaters on June 19 and features an all-star cast that includes Michael Keaton, who will reprise the role of Batman after portraying the character in 1989 and 1992.

Ezra Miller, who recently faced burglary, assault and grooming charges, plays The Flash (aka Barry Allen) in the film.

Amid other issues, including production delays, new DC bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran spoke about their high expectations for the feature earlier this year in January. Earlier this month, Miller, who uses the pronouns she/they use, pleaded guilty to trespassing in Vermont.

Gunn said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the film is “probably one of the best superhero movies ever made.”

Safran explained that Ezra is “totally committed to her recovery. We fully support the journey they are on now.”

Asked if Miller would reprise the role in the future, he added: “When the time comes, when they’re willing to have that conversation, we’ll all figure out the best way forward.”

“But at the moment they are fully focused on their recovery. And in our discussions with them over the past few months, it feels like they are making tremendous progress.”

In a cover story for the outlet published earlier Thursday, Ben Affleck also teased his role as Batman on The Flash. He also played the superhero in the 2017 film Justice League, as well as 2016’s Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

“Yeah, I finally figured out how to play this character and I did a great job on The Flash,” the Gone Girl actor admitted to The Hollywood Reporter.
