Channel Nine’s “Married at First Sight” remains the biggest show on television, with almost 2 million fans per episode.
It beat all rivals in Wednesday’s ratings, scoring a whopping 855,000 in the major centers.
Meanwhile, the total number of viewers, which surpassed the controversial reality series on video-on-demand platforms, reached 646,000.
Another big overnight winner was ABC’s Hard Quiz, which continues to grow its audience.
The hit game show, hosted by comedian Tom Gleeson, pulled in an impressive 513,000 viewers in the metro ratings.

The satirical comedy series won 382,000 fans in the big cities overnight.
At Seven, Home and Away was the channel’s only decent cast.
The popular soap drew 452,000 viewers in the Metro ratings.
Meanwhile, Channel 10’s The Project continues to struggle to maintain a decent audience.

The current affairs panel managed to get just 232,000 viewers in the metro ratings for its 7pm slot.
Nine won the night largely thanks to MAFS, capturing a whopping 34.9 percent market share.
Seven fell far short of second place, capturing 25.6 percent of the available audience.
ABC was third against their commercial rivals with a 17.6 per cent share, while struggling Channel 10 got just 13.7 per cent of viewers.
