Ed Balls was forced to apologize on Wednesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain after swearing live on air.
The former Labor MP (56) left co-host Susanna Reid looking very worried after she made an explicit comment about Danny Dyer during a chat.
The embarrassment came when they recalled that the EastEnders star, 45, appeared on the ITV chat show and used a swear word to describe David Cameron.
Ed shared how he was in the studio when Danny used the “T word” when he was on the show in June 2018 when Susanna and Piers Morgan hosted.
Ed remembers the curse word Danny used, and asks Susanna, “Can we say it this early?”

To which Susanna quickly shot back: “No, we can’t!” It is on Ofcom’s list.
But how ignorant Ed then replied: “So you can’t say t**t then?” Just look!’
Susanna looked wide-eyed and very concerned at his comment before reminding her co-host: “You know we’re on the air, right?”
entertainment reporter Richard Arnold then quipped: “You could say trotters.”
To which Susanna said: “He talked about David Cameron calling the Brexit referendum with his feet on the ground. That’s the T-word you mentioned.”
Ed then had to apologize for his comment, saying: ‘I am sorry. I didn’t mean to say that. I guess I shouldn’t have said that. I’m sorry I didn’t know.”
It comes after Susanna was left in hysterics following Hugh Grant’s incredibly awkward Oscar interview on Sunday.

The 62-year-old actor went viral when he snubbed Ashley Graham and rolled his eyes in what was later dubbed “the worst interview ever” on the red carpet.
Susanna (52) told GMB on Monday that the actor was “known for being short with his words” after the show aired a clip of the awkward incident.
She told co-host Ed Balls: “I was there on the red carpet and of course the problem is when you’re the reporter, he knows exactly who’s coming at you.
“It’s also a problem when the person you’re interviewing isn’t exactly willing to give you an interview.

The ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ star kept his answers to her questions as short as possible, making his blatant disinterest clear in the awkward clip.
At the start of the chat, the bubbly Ashley exclaimed: ‘What was it like being in Glass Onion?’ How fun is it to photograph something like that?’
But she got a cold reply: “Well I’m barely in it, I was in it for like three seconds,” Hugh joked.

“That should have been fun, didn’t you?” Ashley said as she went through the one page chat.
“Um… almost,” replied the actor, looking away.
The model smiled and wore the interview and asked, “What are you wearing?” while Hugh offered a revealing “My suit”.
Viewers at home were rather embarrassed by the exchange and praised Ashley for the way she handled the difficult situation, saying the moment was “the worst” since Will Smith’s infamous slap on Chris Rock at the 2022 ceremony.
