And now Nicola Peltz (27) has opened up about her close friendship with Selena Gomez (30), and even believed that her husband Brooklyn Beckham (23) is also in love with the singer and actress.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan UK for the April/May issue, Nicola was asked about her fast friendship with Selena.
She joked that she and her husband of a year in Brooklyn have become so close to the American star that they call themselves “a troop”.

Close: In a new interview, Nicola joked that she and Brooklyn have become so close to the American star that they call themselves “a troop” (together on a New Year’s holiday in Cabo).
‘Oh dear God. We’re like, “Yeah, we’re a team.” All three of us are best friends,” she said.
“I met her once in passing a few years ago and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy gala. It just clicked and we had the best time.”
Selena ended up celebrating New Year’s Eve with Nicola and Brooklyn, with the trio’s wild Cabo trip taking over their Instagram accounts for days.
Speaking about their connection, Nicola said: “I feel like she’s my soul sister. I love her so much. She is truly one of the most wonderful people I have ever met in my entire life. The most beautiful person ever. Truly, her heart is gold. I feel like I’ve known her forever.’
She added that although she and her husband spend every night together, Brooklyn embraces their friendship and they do not stand in the way of married life.
“Sometimes my friends come to stay and we all fall asleep on the couch, or they stay in my bed and Brooklyn falls asleep in the other room,” she explained.
Selena previously joked about the tag “throuple” during her Instagram photo dump of the trio’s New Year’s trip.
One photo showed the star on board a yacht with Nicola and Brooklyn. “Well a team we call #foreverplusone,” Selena humorously wrote.
Selena looked to be having a blast as she celebrated the entrance of 2023 surrounded by close friends, two months after her notable falling out with ex-boyfriend Francia Raisa.
The Disney star was seriously ill with lupus when fellow actress Raisa, now 34, offered to donate her kidney and she underwent the difficult transplant process in 2017.

Gomez detailed her health issues in her documentary My Mind & Me, released in November, but made no mention of Raisa.
In a Rolling Stone interview in November, Gomez named Taylor Swift as her only famous friend in the industry at the time. (Raisa is a Latina actress with a number of TV and film credits, including Bring It On: All or Nothing, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Grown-ish.)
Francia unfollowed Gomez on Instagram after the documentary was released, and was so upset by Gomez’s quote about Swift that she posted it in the comments section of an E! news report.
