She explained: “When Tom went to the hospice, he was confused and said, ‘Is Dad coming home?’ he continued to ask.
“I said you wouldn’t be coming home,” Kelsey added.

Kelsey boldly shared that she “feels strong” and “gets over it every day” because she has kids to think about.
“I am as strong as I can be in a difficult situation and in a difficult time,” he said. ‘I take my strength from within, I have to think, what do you want me to do?’

“It was really hard, I was just laying in bed and it looked like someone was weighing on me and I was thinking about how to get out of bed. I knew he was going to die that day, so I thought I’d go to the hospice and be with him. I have an army of support systems, this is how we got through it.
“We talked about it at Hopi, we lay in bed one night and talked for hours, I said please give me a sign. Now car alarms go off at 4 am and I say “no no now”.
Then she thought about her life without him and said that now she could accept each day as it was.

Kelsey praised Tom’s bandmates, calling them “role models” as their children grew older and wanted to learn more about their late father.
He said: “They are an important part of our lives and always have been. They are also role models for children, so I want them to have a say in life and tell them stories about their father.
“They know stories that I don’t. Bodhi will want to know the stories. To ask, “What was my father doing on the tour bus?” and he might ask him when he grows up. They will always be there for us.’
Tom died last month while listening to Oasis Live Forever surrounded by his family and bandmates.
And Kelsey plans “Wanted Wednesday,” where her kids can watch clips of Tom performing with the band.

Kelsey added that they have a collection of the group’s products and memorabilia, and that his autobiography, which children can read as they grow up, will be released this summer.
However, Kelsey acknowledged that he finds it very difficult to watch clips of Tom right now, adding that he has his own phone but can’t stand it.
She added that when she logged onto her Instagram, her browsing page showed photos of Tom, which she described as “beautiful” and “crushing”.
Meanwhile, Kelsey said she’s back at work at the K2K Stars art school she founded with her best friend.
