“If all goes well”: Gary Oldman spoke of leaving the cinema

The star goes to a well-deserved rest.

Even the greatest actors ever think about leaving. Including Oscar winner Gary Oldman, who has more than 100 roles in the cinema, experience as a screenwriter, director and producer.

Now the star continues to shoot in the TV series “Slow Horses” and does not exclude the possibility that the role of the head of British intelligence, Jackson Lamb, may be the last in his career.

“I can imagine playing Jackson for the next few years. Absolutely right. So if all goes well, retirement is on the horizon,” Oldman told Deadline.

Perhaps the actor will reconsider his decision. History knows many cases when stars ended their careers and then triumphantly returned to the big cinema.
