Behind the makeup and costume was a real person.
There were many giant creatures in the popular series, some of the most terrifying giants that have lived behind the wall for many years. The creators of “Game of Thrones” had to seriously puzzle over how to reliably embody the image of these giants on the screen.
It would be possible to do everything with the help of computer graphics, but the experts went the other way.
Behind the mask of the giant Wun-Wun was the real actor Ian White, whose height is 2 m 16 cm, writes Culturology. A terrible creature was created with the help of a costume, realistic make-up, and only then slightly enlarged with the help of modern technologies.
The actor managed to play another giant in the series, the white walker and Gregor Clegane in one of the episodes of the first seasons.
