Former Miss Australia Maria Thattil and boyfriend Jorgee Rae were all ecstatic when they unveiled the model’s star-studded book for her memoir and self-help book Unbounded.
The 29-year-old author launched her book for the first time on Wednesday night, where she signed copies and answered questions from readers, but Thursday’s soiree at the trendy Paramount Recreation Club in Sydney’s Surry Hills turned out to be a celebrity affair .
Maria rocked the occasion in a stunning white dress with a thigh-high slit.

At the event, House of Wellness presenter Sarah Davidson introduced Maria, saying the model’s parents encouraged her to write down her thoughts from a young age.

Maria then took the microphone and gave an emotional speech, explaining that sharing the memoir and self-help book was a labor of love and the result of her breaking free from limiting beliefs.
“I know what it’s like to not be enough and how to turn pain into strength,” she said.
“You are bigger than anything you think and I hope to inspire everyone to live who they really are.”
In the new Penguin publication, the former Miss Universe Australia shares her experiences of racism, sexism and bullying, among other things.
Last month, the model opened up to the world about her relationship with Jorgee, and this Saturday the LGBTIQA+ advocate will be the star attraction on the Olay Glow Your Own Way float at Sydney Mardi Gras, where she will wear a specially designed iridescent dress wear.
