Sir Michael Caine, 89, uses a walker after spending an evening at The Ivy with his glamorous wife Shakira, 75, in five decades

Sir Michael Caine and his wife Shakira were in good spirits as they dined at The Ivy in London’s Chelsea on Thursday.

Former actress and model Shakira, 75, put her hand on her husband of five decades as they left the restaurant as Sir Michael used a walker as he walked down the street.

Dressed in smart attire, actor Sir Michael, 89, chose a charcoal gray coat over a blue and white shirt, which he paired with neatly pressed trousers.

Shakira showed off her glamorous sense of style by wearing a black sweater over a navy blue top.

She completed her look by opting for black trousers and a statement necklace.

Wearing plenty of make-up to accentuate her beautiful features, Shakira smiled widely as she left the restaurant after the meal.

It comes after it was revealed Sir Michael’s first Rolls Royce will fetch £150,000 when it goes under the hammer.

When the star bought the Silver Shadow Drophead Coupe in 1968, he reportedly walked into a Berkley Square showroom with a shopping list for “milk, bread, newspaper, cigarettes, Rolls-Royce.”

But he was so filthy that he was escorted off the premises and taken to Mayfair’s other dealer to do his daily chores.

Sir Michael, then 35, eventually collected the streamlined car from exclusive dealer HA Fox, who had it in stock, after playwright and screenwriter Terence Rattigan canceled his order.

He claimed it gave him great pleasure to show the snooty salesmen the “us” the next time he passed him.

The Rolls-Royce is just one of 506 – which goes on sale the day after its 90th birthday.

The plush vehicle stars in the documentary film Candid Caine – a 1969 self-portrait of the award-winning actor.

The car, which has been extensively restored by the current owner, now shines again in its original black.

It will go on sale at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford on March 15.

The beautiful 506 Silver Shadow two-door drop-head coupes were hand-built from 1967 to 1971 by Rolls-Royce’s own coachbuilder, Mulliner Park Ward.

After just two years of use, Sir Michael sold the car to Jack Leach, owner of the famous hotspot The Gasworks in London’s Fulham.

He owned the car until his death in 2013.

It comes after Sir Michael’s daughter failed to avoid a six-month driving ban, although a disqualification would affect her ability to care for her famous 89-year-old father.
