The family donned life jackets and boarded a speedboat to take in the incredible views before heading ashore for lunch.

Martine donned a printed cape and straw hat with her initials to pose for photos and shared a quick kiss with hubby Jack, 38.

The former EastEnders actress captioned the post: “Thank you Dubai! A short but much needed work/holiday break for some sea, sand and rejuvenation was just the pick up we needed after what I felt was the longest, darkest and coldest January ever was!’

“I always struggle a little mentally with Jan for some reason, but this one was extra blah! BUT sunshine memories are made! Self healing and reflection while looking out to sea was such a wonderful thing to do…”.

“Laughter – the best tonic of all – was plentiful and some work was also done. It was a win, a win!’

“I’m already thinking about my next vitamin D regimen! #Holiday #Memoriesmade❤ #muchneededbreak #until next time #grateful’.

Martine reflected on a “rough” 2022 as she rang in the New Year last month – thanking friends for getting her and husband Jack out of the house.

In her post, she said that last year was her “hardest year yet” and that she was “ready for the next chapter” after the tragic death of her brother LJ at the age of 31.

“By the way… have a happy new year everyone! May 2023 be your best year! 2022 has been my hardest year yet… But I’m so ready for the next chapter in my life story,” her post began.

“We went to one of my favorite bands for New Year’s Eve at one of the best and most legendary music venues in the world and it was magical…I definitely have to go to that gig,” she said.

“It was so nice to see my old friend Simon Bartholomew from the band and they are still so good! In the words of the Brand New Heavies: “You are the universe and there’s nothing you can’t do, if you put your mind to it you can achieve it, that’s why I believe in you – yes I do!”

It comes after the actress lost her brother LJ, 31, who had a mild case of special needs, late last year.

In a thoughtful post in October, she urged her fans to “hold on extra tight” after her brother Laurence John died aged 31 without medical explanation.

“Saturday a blue sky and sunshine. Have a nice weekend everyone. Hold on extra tight and make memories,” she wrote at the time.

She said the website’s designer was marrying fiance Jay Eaton, 49, within a month and that Martine, who was to be a bridesmaid, had seen her brother a few days before his death.

My heart is forever broken, my little brother, my gentle giant, unfortunately passed away suddenly 2 weeks ago. He was 31 years old.

“There is no medical explanation as to why we lost him so quickly and while we continue to investigate we have to accept that nothing will bring our boy back.

“LJ (Laurence John) was born when I was 15 and from the moment I first held him in my arms I was so proud and protective of him. He was such a character!

“He made us all laugh and loved nothing more than coming up with a plan, having a great playlist, bringing people together and just generally having a giggle.”

She also thanked fans for their support after his shocking death.

“Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. This is my first time on Instagram since I shared my post about losing my brother a few weeks ago.”

“First of all thank you for the outpouring of love, it means so much to my family.”

She continued, “I know my brother wanted me to go on and he was so proud of me and the fact that I loved to inspire people and make them feel good and give them a little bit of magic, where i could

“I felt him on me and I did that on day one. I did it.’

Alongside the emotional clip, she wrote: “Thank you for your support. come back to it bit by bit. I know LJ wants me to continue.”

“He was proud of me and understood why I do what I do. Grief is a strange old thing and there is no one way to deal with it, but it felt good to do something. I was nervous, but I made it.’
