Broke the charts in the 90s: Bronn from the “Game of Thrones” wasn’t that easy

Actor Jerome Flynn is far from his character from the series.

A dangerous mercenary, a master of the sword and just a trickster who is not afraid of dirty tricks – this is how Bronn appeared to the audience in Game of Thrones. However, few people know that the actor became famous in the late 90s not because of the roles of villains and unscrupulous warriors.

In 1995, Jerome Flynn unexpectedly topped the UK charts in the duet “Robson and Jerome”. The men brilliantly performed a cover version of the famous Unchained Melody.

The listeners liked the version of the duet so much that they were invited to several shows and remained on the charts for seven weeks. In addition, the song was considered the best-selling song until 1997, and only Sir Elton John was able to move the overbearing duet, recalls 24SMI.
