Ben Affleck revealed another tattoo in his extensive collection on Tuesday after getting his and her ink from new wife Jennifer Lopez.

Affleck, 50, and Lopez, 53, were spotted on Instagram celebrating their first Valentine’s Day since their wedding last summer in similar designs.

The air star and director wore a pair of overlapping arrows under his armpit with the letters J and B between them, while on her left side Lopez had an infinity sign with an arrow inked with the words “Jennifer” and “Ben”.

While the design is clearly sentimental, the actor has made some pretty questionable choices when it comes to body art in the past.

His most controversial tattoo is the giant phoenix that covers his entire back. After he was first photographed with the ink in 2015, he claimed it was “fake” for a roll of film.

The phoenix tattoo seemed to bother his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, who told Vanity Fair of the ink in February 2016: “You know what we would say about that in my hometown? ‘Bless his heart.’

Garner added: “A phoenix rises from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take offense. I refuse to be the ashes.”

Lopez also criticized the ink in a February 2016 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, saying that the ink was “terrible”.

“They shouldn’t be so colorful, you know what I mean? They should be cooler.’
