The Totally The actress, who made headlines for shifting her brand of entertainment to Great American Family, just received the Best Family Television Award and the Grace Award for TV Achievement at the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards. Never heard of it? They have been (kindly) dubbed the Christian Oscars because they love to pay homage healthy And edifying Christian entertainment.
Neighbors won to produce and star A Christmas present, the first holiday film she produced for the network under her Candy Rock Entertainment banner. The film debuted in November as part of the network’s Great American Christmas program. She played a real estate mom in the film alongside Marc Blucas and Paul Fitzgerald.
In an exuberant Instagram post, Bure thanked the network and its executive director Bill Abbott “for not being shy about sharing the scriptures and the name of Jesus on cable television and for their commitment to faith and family entertainment.”

Last summer, GAC Media signed former staple Hallmark Channel to develop, produce and star films and TV shows for GAC Family and GAC Living. She also took an executive role with the company, overseeing and curating the show, which eventually led to her now infamous Wall Street Journal interview about keeping “traditional marriage in the middle.”
In other words, there will be no holiday movies with same-sex couples in Great American Family. This did not go down well with actress Hilarie Burton (whom she called a fanatic) and many people on social media who objected to what they saw as covert – or overt – homophobia.
The 30th annual Movieguide Awards will be broadcast on February 26 on the cable channel UPtv.
