Eminem’s former stunt double died after being hit by a van.
Ryan Shepherd died in late January, aged 40, after being struck by a vehicle trying to cross a road.
The rapper’s appearance was pronounced dead shortly after being admitted to a Washington hospital, his brother Kyle told TMZ.
He leaves behind his two daughters aged seven and eleven.
Ryan is best known for playing Rap Boy, the superhero character from the hit single Lose Yourself, at the 2002 MTV Movie Awards.

That year, he toured Europe and Japan with Eminem on his Anger Management Tour before appearing as the star’s “clone” in D12’s Purple Hills music video.
More recently, Ryan worked as a test automation engineer at Elon Musk’s SpaceX after spending several years as a Prime mover builder at Disney.
The tragic news comes just days after Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Mathers got engaged to Evan McClintock.
The 27-year-old actress posted the happy news on Instagram on Monday morning.
The beauty showed off her new diamond engagement ring on her wedding finger as she helped her husband-to-be open a bottle of champagne.
“Informal weekend throwback…4/2/23 love you @evanmclintock11,” the brunette wrote in her caption.
She wore a black jacket with jeans and boots, while Evan wore a black jacket over khaki pants and boots.
Evan also got down on one knee for his proposal, which apparently took place on a boat.

Hailie works as an influencer. She grew up in Detroit with father Eminem – real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III – and mother Kim Scott.
She attended Chippewa Valley High School (2014) and Michigan State University
Her siblings are Alaina Marie Mathers, Stevie Laine Mathers and Parker Scott.
