Beloved TV star Diana “Bubbles” Fisher has died at the age of 91 after a two-year battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Fisher was admitted to St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Sydney on Monday before he died on Thursday evening.
The 91-year-old, who appeared on the hit Australian TV show Beauty and the Beast, was remembered as a vivacious personality until her last breath.

“She was at our house for Christmas and was mad at my husband for not giving her enough hash browns,” said Sally Evans, a longtime friend.
“She was still full of life as people would remember her.”
Tributes have been paid to the much-loved TV personality, with friend and journalist Craig Bennett describing her as “funny” and generous.
“Despite several years of ill health, including a battle with cancer, Bubbles was always in good spirits and full of fantastic gossip and her trademark enthusiasm,” he said.
“We had a long phone call with Chrissie and exchanged many wonderful stories. Diana was a sweetheart.
“Friendly, generous, funny, the best jam maker. And she insisted on spreading hot flatbreads thick with cold butter!”
Former gossip columnist Ros Reines added: “Bubbles was the definitive influencer who once tried to empower a group of people with one of her omelets.
“Bubbles and I also played for the Bollinger Belles cricket team.”
Fisher earned her nickname “Bubbles” for her infectious spirit and warm personality.

Born in London, she married BBC producer Humphrey before moving to Australia when he came to the country via the network in 1964.
Fisher had a keen interest in the royal family and covered marriages, births and deaths in 53 countries.
“I had the great pleasure of meeting many royals,” she said on Women’s Day last year.
“The Queen is so charming – we met on the royal yacht Britannia in 1971 and Prince Charles is someone who really cares. He never stops asking questions.’
