Judd Apatow returns to host the DGA Awards, whose 75th anniversary will be held on February 18 at The Beverly Hilton. After 2018, 2020 and 2022, he is hosting the gala for the fourth time.
“I am very honored to present the DGA Awards for the fourth time. If I was ever nominated, I would quit,” Apatow joked. And while he never received an award nomination from the DGA, he won a pair of CableACE Awards in the 1990s — and three Emmys since then.
“I am delighted to have brought Judd on board for this special DGA Awards anniversary show, 75 years in the making. Never underestimate the power of a Chipotle gift card,” joked DGA Awards President Beth McCarthy-Miller. “Judd is a comedic genius who can be counted on to keep things moving – and as a presenter he doesn’t have to worry about being snubbed by the stage.”
