It comes after Kourtney shared some of her favorite yoga poses for staying slim on her website POOSH – these include Child Pose, Cat Pose and Puppy Pose, among others.
It turns out that the child’s pose is one of her favorite positions to help with digestion. “Yoga helps create space in the body to promote the movement of food through the digestive tract,” their website states.
“It can stimulate the digestive tract by applying slight abdominal pressure,” it added.
“Perhaps most importantly, by relaxing the body, it helps us move further away from the body’s stress response to the body’s parasympathetic ‘rest and digest’ state. When stressed, the body slows down digestion to divert energy to the perceived threat.”

Let’s go: The two were still wearing their glasses when they got into the car
She then suggested movements.
The first was the child’s posture: “Sit on your legs with your feet together and knees. Fold your torso over your legs with your forehead toward the floor or a block. Rest your arms by your feet. Hold for 10 breaths. Why: Gently squeeze the abdominal muscles.’
Next was the cat pose: “Start in a table top position on all fours, shoulders over wrists and hips over knees. As you inhale, arch your spine by lowering your belly as your tailbone, chest and chin rise. As you exhale, round your spine, push the floor away from you, and tuck your chin toward your chest. Complete 10 rounds.’
It helps to gently lengthen and compress the abdominal organs.
She also recommended puppy ownership.
“From the table top, keep hips above knees and step hands forward so that head and chest move towards the floor (or rest head on block/rolled blanket). Hold for 10 breaths. Why: abs.’
And then there was the sphinx pose.
“Lie on your stomach and support yourself with your elbows under your shoulders and your forearms parallel to your forearms.
“Press with the top of both feet to transfer energy to the legs. Do the same with the forearms to lengthen the neck from the shoulders. Hold for 10 breaths. Why: simultaneously stretches and compresses the abdominal organs.’
There was also the lying twist and the wind-relieving pose.
Last week she shared that she takes several supplements every day and one of her “lunchtime supplements” was NAD+ Platinum. “Has so many benefits and I love it,” she wrote on her Insta Stories, insisting the post was “not an ad.”
