Michael Clarke has been embroiled in a new scandal after his current girlfriend Jade Yarbrough accused the former cricketer of cheating on him with ex-flame Pip Edwards, leading to a wild late-night brawl at a Noosa.
Sensational footage emerged on Wednesday night of Clarke and Yarbrough having a heated exchange about the alleged incident in front of shocked onlookers in a public park.
While trying to reassure Jade that he had not slept with Edwards on December 17, Clarke swore on the life of his seven-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee, pleading: “I swear on my life… It’s not true .” I swear on my life my daughter, on my daughter’s life.’

Veteran showbiz reporter Peter Ford says the four words Clarke uttered during his bout will “haunt” him for the rest of his life.
Appearing on Channel Seven’s Sunrise on Thursday to discuss the scandal, Ford said: “He used four words that I think will haunt him.
“I think it’s about his character or what people will see of him where he says twice: ‘It’s not true about my daughter’s life.
“And now, of course, he’s implying that it was actually true,” Ford added. “You don’t draw that card and you only use that card when it’s actually true.”

Karl Stefanovic and Clarke clashed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast on January 10 while on holiday with their respective partners, sisters Jasmine and Jade.
The fight focused on Clarke’s ex-girlfriend, high-profile fashion designer Edwards, and recent news flows between the two.
Dramatic footage from the Daily Telegraph shows a shirtless Clarke being verbally abused and punched by his angry girlfriend, as others in the group try to defuse the fight.

In a video of the angry exchange between Clarke, Stefanovic and their partners, Jade accused Clarke of sleeping with Edwards on December 17 and texting her to say she was the “love of his life”.
All hell broke loose when the celebrity friends and loved ones dined with celebrity accountant Anthony Bell at a Noosa beach restaurant.
The video begins with Jade shouting at Clarke before punching him in the face and pushing him away after the cricket legend claimed he hadn’t cheated on her.
‘Was I wrong? I’m damn wrong! You are a fucking liar. I can see everything. You called her,” Jade shouted, apparently referring to messages between Clarke and Edwards.

“It’s not my circus. Once again Michael in his true nature took no responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” Pip Edwards said in a statement to Daily Mail Australia.
Clarke then tries to assure Jade that he didn’t sleep with Edwards on December 17th, claiming he was with his pal Bell that night.
“Honey, you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” Clarke insists. “Honey, honey, Belly was in the house. I swear on my life, I swear on my life… It’s not true, it’s not true.’
He then swore on his daughter Kelsey’s life that he wasn’t cheating on her.
“I swear on my daughter’s life, on my daughter’s life,” Clarke says.
But Jade refuses to believe Clarke’s desperate protests and claims to have spoken to Edwards.
“You fucking lie to me. You are a piece of shit. I was just talking to her. What’s the matter with you?” she said.
Clarke again denies sleeping with Pip, replying, “No, I haven’t.” you can hit me It’s not true, it’s not true.’

Clarke apparently injured his hamstring during the scuffle after being knocked to the ground by Jade as he stumbled through the public park.
Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine finally intervened, grabbing her sick sister’s arm and pulling Jade away.
You can hear Jasmin saying, “Go away with Karl, go away with Karl.”
As she is led away, Jade can be heard crying as she turns to Clarke and says, “I fucking hate you.”
Clarke tries to follow Jade before unleashing a fit of rage on Stefanovic, apparently for running away with the two sisters.
“Karlos, I can tell you now don’t leave. She can, she can hit me, but you, you bitch,” says Clarke.
The comment infuriates Jade, who defends her brother-in-law before repeatedly punching Clarke in the face.
“You shit, don’t talk to him,” she screamed.

Stefanovic and his celebrity accountant friend Bell are heard telling the couple to stop, which falls on deaf ears.
“Go hit me, hit me… do it again, you’re wrong, you’re bloody wrong,” Clarke tells his girlfriend.
Jade yelled, “Oh, am I wrong? You screwed her (Edwards) on December 17th, you screwed her…you’re a great dog…I’ll show her every message you’ve ever sent me has.
She refers to a text she saw on Clarke’s phone inviting Edwards to come with him to India.
“Oh yes, you are the love of my life Pip, come to India,” says Jade.
Clarke replies, “Don’t ever talk to me again.”
The two-minute clip ends with Jasmine and Bell breaking up the twin pair.
“Stop, Jade, stop,” pleaded Jasmine. Bell adds, “Let it go, Jade.”
According to stunned witnesses, the ugly exchange took place in front of young children nearby.
A contrite Clarke took full responsibility for what happened.
“I am absolutely devastated that I put people I really care about in this position. My actions leading up to this altercation were downright disgraceful and deplorable,” he told the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday evening.
“I am devastated that by my actions I have brought women of class and integrity and my peers into this situation.”
Meantime Edwards attacked her ex-boyfriend Clarke.
She was having none of the drama when she returned to her Bondi home late on Wednesday night after attending Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road concert at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.
“It’s not my circus. Once again Michael in his true nature took no responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

A contrite Clarke took full responsibility for what happened and said he regretted the incident
Clarke’s relationship with former partner Edwards began in June 2020 following his divorce from wife Kyly, which they announced four months earlier.
He and Edwards were previously friends for more than a decade, but became closer when they worked together on a fashion project.
The couple called it quits in December 2021.
A source close to the couple confirmed the split and said: “The decision was mutual. They are two best friends who decided to break up as a couple earlier this month, but to continue their friendship.
After their split, Edwards had a relationship with Bondi restaurateur Cameron Northway for about four months, but it broke up and she reunited with Clarke.
Clarke and Edwards recently attended an exclusive A-list New Year’s Eve party at Sydney’s iconic Icebergs.
The former Australian Test cricket captain was married to ex-model Kyly Clarke (née Boldy), 40, from 2012 to 2019, but the couple only announced their split in February 2020.
The Clarkes kept their divorce a secret for several months before releasing a statement on Instagram saying her daughter was her priority.
The couple said in a statement at the time that the “amicable” decision to separate was “the best course of action” for their daughter.
