Noel Gallagher is divorcing his wife Sara MacDonald after almost 12 years of marriage.
The Oasis star, 55, and the music publicist, 51, issued a statement to MailOnline on Friday night announcing their split and that their two sons “remain their priority”.
Noel, who married Sara in a small ceremony in the New Forest in June 2011, has reportedly moved out of her £8 million villa on the South Downs in Hampshire and will live in North London after their wedding.

Noel and Sara are parents of two sons, Donovan (15) and Sonny (12). The rocker is also father to his eldest daughter Anais (22) from his previous relationship with ex-wife Meg Mathews.
A spokesperson for Noel and Sara confirmed the split to MailOnline in a joint statement, saying: “Noel Gallagher and Sara Macdonald have confirmed that the couple are separating.
“Noel and Sara will continue to take care of their children together, which remains their priority. Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”

While a source told The Sun: “It’s a huge shame but they’re trying to keep it civil.”
“Noel has moved, but Sara may eventually want to move back to London. They are constantly working to minimize harassment.”
Since 2019, Noel and Sara have been living with their two young children in an £8 million mansion on the South Downs, near the town of Petersfield in Hampshire.
But the Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmaker is now reportedly living separately from his wife in north London.

Noel met Sara in 2000 – a year before his divorce from his first wife, Meg.
The rocker was married to Meg for four years.
The former couple were notorious for their party lifestyle as they indulged in rowdy nights out with Kate Moss and Sadie Frost.
But following their split, the rocker was reported to have had an affair with Sara during his relationship with Meg – who reportedly named the publicist in the divorce proceedings.
But Noel and Sara strongly denied that claim, with the star issuing a statement in 2001 that he had not cheated and “left Meg because I could no longer tolerate her behaviour.”

His brother Liam does not get on with Sara and has had a number of public arguments with the PR manager in the past.
He even hinted that she was the reason there wouldn’t be an Oasis reunion.
In 2020, a fan tweeted him asking: “Hi Liam, do you know why Noel hates the oasis reunion so much????”
He replied suggesting it was her fault, writing: “I told you before he was ready but you know who won’t let him because she doesn’t like oasis music.” [sic].
