The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the list of 301 films eligible for the 2023 Oscar for Best Picture.

To be eligible for a refund, a feature film must be shown between January 1 and December 1 in a commercial theater in at least one of six US metropolitan areas: Los Angeles County, New York City, Bay Area, Chicago , Miami, and Atlanta . September 2022 and complete a qualifying run of at least seven consecutive days at the same location. The films must have a running time of more than 40 minutes.
Approximately 9,623 voting members of the Academy can begin filling out their ballots starting Thursday, with voting ending on January 17 at 5:00 PM PT. The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24th and the Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on March 12th. from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
