For a man whose first venture into filmmaking was a series of ski documentaries, Ruben Östlund has done very well. In just eight years, he took the Cannes Film Festival and then the international film world by storm, leading to the Swede’s first English-language film. triangle of sorrow, which earned him his second Palme d’Or in just five years.
