Mariah Carey it may not be official christmas queen, but it sure is close! In Mariah’s infamous holiday song “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” the 52-year-old superstar singer’s gift list was simple. This year, however, Mariah has apparently added designer dresses and other high-value retail items to her wish list. On Christmas Eve, December 24, the mother of 11-year-old twins with the ex nick cannon42- monroe Y Moroccan — took Monroe on a last-minute shopping trip to Aspen, Colorado, which has been Mariah’s Christmas destination for years.

Mariah posted a photo of her and Monroe on Instagram which was taken during the outing. Pictured, the mother-daughter pair carried Prada bags while wearing Burberry. Both had big smiles on their faces, understandably after spending a lot of money while doing some last-minute shopping. Mariah captioned the photo: “Merry Christmas! Do some shopping before watching tonight’s special on CBS! @cbstv @paramountplus Thanks to everyone who made this possible for us!”

She also shared a photo of a sleigh ride she took with the twins on Christmas Eve. In one photo showing Mariah dressed as Santa, she was riding in the back of a sleigh carrying twins Monroe and Moroccan dressed in matching Christmas pajamas. Mariah’s boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, who was also in Aspen this year with her, was not in the photo. Mariah also included a photo of her after the sled photo. She looked very surprised and happy with her outburst. Mariah captioned the series of sleigh rides: “Surprise Midnight Sleigh Ride on Christmas Eve!”

But nothing could have prepared her for the gift she woke up with on Christmas Day! Mariah posted an Instagram GIF of her on Dec. 25 that showed her covering her face as she pretended to fall. She reached out her arm to show her fans her phone, which contained some very exciting news. There was a post on Mariah’s phone that said, “All I want for Christmas is for you to break the record for the biggest day of streaming in Spotify’s global history (21.27 million).” In the caption of the photo, she wrote: “Merry Christmas everyone! I didn’t expect to wake up with this incredible surprise!”
