If you struggle to put on makeup, or you just don’t have the time to create an elaborate eye look every morning, then cream shadows are perfect for you. I’m not going to deny that powder eyeshadow palettes, with many shades, are precious and make you want to collect them, but on many occasions we keep these palettes in the drawer, not knowing how to use them or how to use the shades. We waste them due to lack of time or knowledge.
I assure you that with cream shadows this will not happen as they are so easy to apply that you only need your fingers to do it, you will be able to apply makeup in minutes and with ease. If you want to use brushes to blend the product better, you can do that too. This would be a step for perfectionists, but it’s not essential as cream shadows allow you to create a simple smokey just with your fingers or using the product applicator.
Another advantage of cream shadows is that the colors or brightness are much more noticeable.. When you combine them by applying a powder shadow on them, you get a more long-lasting and pigmented makeup. A surefire mix of long-lasting eye makeup products is to use a cream eyeshadow as a base on your lid and then apply it with a satin powder shadow. This way you make your eyes stand out much more and the shadow lasts longer.
Among so many cream shade options in the market, we can find different sizes to choose from. My favorite are the shadows in the shape of a stick, or in a barThese are shaped like a pencil or crayon and allow us to draw directly on the eye so that the color is deposited more intensely, then the edges can be gently blurred with the fingertips.
Another type of texture that we can find are liquid or creamy shadows, these are applied with a brush to blend, if you want a subtle intensity, or with your fingers to better adhere the product and saturate the color more.
Kiko Milano Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow:
Creamy shadows in stick or colored pencil format, very easy to apply on the eyelids. They provide color intensity and shine for 8 hours. They apply directly to the eyes, are waterproof and blend quickly with your fingers or a brush.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow:
These satiny and creamy shadows are ideal for lightening up the look. The “soft focus” pigments help to soften expression lines and rejuvenate the appearance of the eyelids.
Magnetic Eye Color Nude Stix:
If you’re looking for a vegan and cruelty-free makeup option, you’ll love the Nude Stix pencil shadows. They are very creamy and smooth, they glide on easily and when they dry they become waterproof.
