Evgenia Medvedeva came close to winning Olympic gold twice in Pyeongchang 2018. But that year the skater won only two silver medals (in team competitions and in single skating). She starred in a new show, about which blogger Katya Adushkina said that she regrets nothing (and in some cases was even happy with this outcome of events).

“The two years after the Olympic Games were tough. I had some kind of additional idea that I still needed to be 100 percent to get to the next Olympics and prove everyone wrong. It’s not really worth it. I was one and a half points short of Olympic gold,” the figure skater said.
Medvedeva, 24, admitted that she experiences a lot of psychological pressure in big sports. “When I was 16, they gave me exactly one day to rejoice. You come back as European champion and in two weeks you have to be in perfect shape again because in three weeks you have to go to the World Championship,” she explained.

The girl also added at the end: “Non-existent gold helped me avoid absolute default in my life.”
Earlier, Evgenia Medvedeva told how she earned her first money.
