She attended the event with a new hairstyle that the Internet dubbed “waterfall bangs” due to the downward flowing strands.

The same hairstyle accompanied Kim at the 2023 CFDA Awards ceremony held on November 6. Chris Appleton, the star’s hairstylist responsible for the look, quickly called out all her cards and said it wasn’t a new haircut, just fake bangs. “The look was inspired by ’90s Pammy,” Appleton told British Vogue. “It was a much more casual look than what we had done before, and adding the extensions really completed it.”
