The International Paralympic Committee allowed Russian athletes to participate in the Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024. They will be able to speak individually and impartially. This was reported by the IPC press service.
“The IPC General Assembly voted 90 to 56 to suspend the membership of the RPC on the grounds that it violates the constitutional obligations of membership,” the International Paralympic Committee said in a statement. Six participants abstained from voting.
Let’s remember that last year the International Paralympic Committee did not allow athletes from Russia to compete. Although initially the team’s athletes were allowed to compete in neutral status, this decision was later changed.
