Apollo Nida has given his blessing to his former wife Phaedra Parks and her new relationship with her television co-star CT Tamburello.
Nida told TMZ on September 7 that he supports the romance because he trusts Parks' judgment when it comes to their children.
The 47-year-old fitness expert shares two teenage sons, 16-year-old Ayden and 13-year-old Dylan, with Parks. The couple separated and finalised their divorce in 2017.
Nida said he had no concerns about the new boyfriend as long as Tamburello treats Parks and their children well.
He told the outlet he does not follow Parks' love life closely and their interactions focus on their children. However, he said he was not shocked by the news because of the chemistry the pair showed while filming the reality television competition The Traitors in 2024.
Parks and Tamburello confirmed their relationship after displaying their flirtatious side on the red carpet at the Creative Emmy Awards on September 5.
Tamburello's estranged wife Catalina White filed for divorce in January. She responded to an E! News Instagram post about her husband's new relationship by posting clapping emojis and writing: "Sign the papers."
Nida added that he is happy for Parks as long as she is happy, and that she deserves love. He married real estate developer Sherien Almufti in 2022. The couple will reunite on screen with Parks on the Bravo reality show Married to Medicine in 2025.

Parks and Tamburello join a long list of celebrity couples who have taken their relationships public recently.
Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner advanced their relationship in May 2026 after sparking romance rumours in the spring. The Frankenstein actor and The Kardashians star went on a double date with Jenner's sister Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet. They also took romantic trips to Hawaii and Japan in early summer 2026.
Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas sparked dating rumours in February 2025. The Knives Out actress only spoke about her working relationship with the Top Gun actor at the time, but the pair were later seen holding hands on a walk through Vermont in July 2025. Multiple outlets reported the couple ended their relationship in October 2025, after E! News contacted their representatives without a response.
Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez were seen boarding a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles in July 2025 in a video shared by TMZ. The sighting came six months after the Fantastic Four actress separated from her husband Cash Warren. Alba and the Top Gun: Maverick actor were seen together again on a trip to Miami in May 2026.
Hollywood actors on holiday
Jennifer Aniston and hypnotist Jim Curtis sparked romance rumours when they were photographed on holiday together in Mallorca in early July 2025. The Friends actress told Travel + Leisure magazine in April of that year that she was doing hypnosis to remove superstitions, before confirming the relationship on Instagram in November 2025.
She told the magazine: "I have been doing some hypnosis lately, and one of the requirements is to remove all of those superstitions."
Reese Witherspoon and financier Oliver Haarmann were first seen together last autumn. People magazine published photographs of the Legally Blonde actress and Haarmann kissing on a yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez, France, in July 2025.
Anna Kendrick and Alex Edelman were photographed together several times in the summer of 2025. The Pitch Perfect actress and the comedian were seen driving together in Studio City, California, and shopping at an outdoor market in Los Angeles in July.
Elliot Page and Julia Shiplett confirmed their romance in June 2025 to celebrate Pride Month. The Umbrella Academy actor posted a selfie of the pair with rainbow and heart emojis to announce his relationship with the Overcompensating actress.
Musicians and reality stars
Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson made their relationship official on Instagram in July 2025, before making their red carpet debut at her Inaugural Pete and Thomas Foundation Gala in New York a few days later. The Grammy-winning rapper announced the end of the relationship the following spring.
She said in an April 2026 statement to E! News: "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes confirmed their relationship after growing close on Celebrity Big Brother. The Dance Moms star told The Guardian on June 2: "It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way."
