Russian music producer Yana Rudkovskaya has shared photographs of a mushroom picking trip in the forest wearing high-end items from French luxury brand Chanel.
The 51-year-old celebrity published images from her excursion to the Kostroma region on her Instagram page, showing baskets filled with wild mushrooms collected during her stay. Her outfit for the outdoor outing featured boots and a cap from Chanel, paired with a jacket produced by the American activewear brand Alo Yoga.

Designer Outfits in the Forest
Rudkovskaya documented her harvest, displaying baskets containing porcini, aspen boletes, birch boletes, and chanterelles. Wild mushroom foraging, often referred to in Russia as quiet hunting, is a widespread seasonal tradition across the country during late summer and autumn.
The Kostroma region is an administrative territory situated in western Russia, northeast of Moscow. Known for its dense forests and natural countryside, the area is a popular destination for seasonal foraging trips.
Rudkovskaya was accompanied on the journey by her friend Alisa Alekperova, the owner of travel company President Travel. Alekperova also selected luxury fashion items for the countryside walk, wearing Chanel boots and carrying a woven handbag from the French fashion house.
Chanel is a Paris-based luxury house famous globally for high-end fashion and accessories, while Alo Yoga is a Los Angeles fashion label specializing in premium activewear.
Social Media Reactions
The published images quickly drew attention from social media users, who posted a range of critical and satirical comments regarding the choice to wear designer attire for wild foraging. Some commentators joked that people now wear Chanel whether going to the neighborhood bakery or searching for mushrooms in the woods.
Other respondents ridiculed the pair as fools in designer clothing, while one commenter described carrying a Chanel bag into a forest as a mixture of philistinism and bad taste. Another user mockingly asked why the gathered mushrooms themselves were not produced by Chanel.
The post appeared on Instagram, which is owned by Meta Corporation, an entity officially designated as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation. Rudkovskaya frequently showcases luxury fashion online, having previously displayed a beach outfit valued at one million rubles in June.
