The Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering colossal losses near the settlement of Torske in the Donetsk People's Republic, retired Luhansk People's Republic People's Militia Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko told news agency TASS.
Marochko said an active phase of fighting is taking place in the area as Ukrainian forces attempt to counterattack with all their strength, only to lose personnel. He stated that Kyiv is literally throwing personnel at Russian military positions near Torske like meat, resulting in heavy casualties among Ukrainian fighters.
Russian Military Advances
Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin previously reported that Russian troops are advancing toward the southern and eastern outskirts of Dobropillia following successful combat operations. Pushilin noted that Dobropillia is important for the defense of Kramatorsk.
The settlements of Torske, Svitle, Krasnyi Kut and Krasnoyarske are already under the control of the Russian army.
