After the couple’s decision to step back from their royal duties in February 2020, Harry says he needs to step back. “I wonder what would have happened to us if we didn’t go out when we got out.”
“I said, ‘We have to get out of here'”she remembers.
Meghan also talks about the impact the decision to backtrack has had on their personal lives, including the UK government’s decision to remove 24-hour police protection on the grounds that they no longer have taxpayer-funded security benefits.
“Our security has been taken away from us. Everyone in the world knew where we were.” Meghan said.
“I was not thrown to the wolves, I was eaten by the wolves”it adds.
The trailer concludes with Meghan and Harry’s children Archie, 3, and Lilibet Diana, 1, enjoying their new life in Montecito, California.
“You must complete the first chapter to advance to the next chapter.‘, says Harry, in the midst of scenes where we see the couple having fun on the beach and playing in the countryside with their kids – Harry carrying Archie and Lili on his shoulders. “I always felt this was a fight worth fighting.“
“It gave us the chance to create that home we’ve always wanted” Adds Meghan.
