He told us about this title: “This is a song about transmission. I didn’t allow myself to ask this theme because I’m very humble when it comes to my children. I want to protect them. But I also want to be honest, so author Marc offered me, insisting that I at least read the text. that’s who i am, that’s my balance, i became a mother early and it channeled my energy, it was my compass too, i finally grew up with my first son.“
Jenifer traveled to Annecy and its legendary lake in a glazed chalet to capture this sublime ballad. As we can see at the end of the video, it’s a totally soulful black and white clip that doesn’t leave the singer unscathed after shedding a few tears. It must be said that the text, in which he reflects his children’s departure from home, makes him emotional every time: “This is the cycle of life! This song opens a bit like an insurance commercial when we were little and we saw the seasons go by! I cried every time I saw it and I cried every time I sang “Waiting””.
Fans of the singer will be able to hear him perform on stage during a grand tour in France from March 2023.
