Benoît Paire will no longer take off his racket in 2022. On Wednesday, November 9, the French player announced that he has finished his season after retiring from Matsuyama Challenger in Japan. Despite a major defeat against Australian Dane Sweeny (4-6, 6-4, 7-5), Benoît Paire had to retire in the second round of the competition. Against Taiwan’s Yu Hsiou Hsu, the tricolor player was unable to complete his match due to wrist pain.
