Since October 18, Greg Guillotin has been airing an episode of his new documentary series dedicated to his trap twice a week. The Worst Groomand especially the behind-the-scenes of this deception, which has countless twists and turns.
This Tuesday, November 8, episode 5 aired: an event, because the first trap shot for this script is the criminal MC Guillaume, in which Greg Guillotin pretends to be an amateur rapper and convinces parents that he is going to marry their daughter. This first test trapped a Congolese family, lasted over six hours, and was never aired due to the very violent sequences. Young Tiphaine’s father, a man named Eugène, quickly lost his temper and threatened the fake son-in-law with a glass bottle. Things quickly deteriorated when the comedian was only 10% of the script. Even the police intervened.
Wanting to put an end to their ordeal, the famous C8 trapper decided to cancel the trap’s spectacular ending and announced that it was a hidden camera before expected.
But then, what really happened and why didn’t the comedian finish the sketch at the first signs of violence? Greg Guillotin, who was invited to the set of Touche, which was not my place tonight, told Cyril Hanouna: “Normally I am still trapped for six hours. I said to myself: ‘I will die immediately!’ He adds: “I couldn’t open it at all, Eugene was so hot in the beginning. I said to myself: ‘I don’t know how to end this’. I expected her to be angry because her daughter Tiphaine said she was angry, but she served us well there (…) It’s the first time we see such an explosive person”.
Faced with the behavior of the father of the family, Greg Guillotin could put an end to his sketch. Cyril Hanouna asks him why he decided against all odds to continue his deception. “We missed the first time with the first girl who finally failed to make the trap. These are months of work. I never say to myself ‘I’m going to stop’ when I’m inside. I’m like, ‘How do I get down so he can stay?’ “The young man explains.
Considered too violent to be televised on C8, the skit will only qualify to air online on You Tube. Within hours of its release, the video has already garnered over a million views!
Also invited to the set, Eugene and his wife Brigitte were invited to talk about this scam, which they havetily committed. “I scared”Greg Guillotin’s accomplice, Thiphaine’s father, confesses.
A sequel to the documentary will be offered in a few days, and net surfers will be able to watch a second test of this trap being prepared, which led to emitted emissions in C8 last May 5.
