Jean-Pierre Pernaut: Daughter Lou, who moved past a symbolic venue, remembers her on Instagram

Last night, Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s daughter Lou had a heavy heart. Passing by a place her father loved, she inevitably thought of him as she announced it to her community on Instagram.

Jean-Pierre Pernaut is still greatly missed by his family, nearly 8 months after his death.

His widow, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut, is back in theaters, but the shadow of Jean-Pierre is everywhere. Lou and Tom’s mother even receives “messages” from her deceased husband to help her move on. Recently, she got the initials of the man of her life tattooed, to pin it to her and to always keep her close to her heart. “I thought it was important that it be etched into my skin, because even when I leave, I will at least take it with me,” she said.

It will fulfill Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s wish by launching its first clothing collection in 2023. A project imagined as a couple, where Nathalie said: “She really saw me, but it’s still crazy because we’ve been talking about it for over a decade and it’s happening now (…) I’m so glad. Jean-Pierre would be very, very happy “We will make his dream come true,” he said.

The couple’s 19-year-old daughter Lou, who is very close to her journalist father, also thinks of him often. In social networks, she does not pay tribute to him very regularly.

While driving in Paris last night, he passed a place that immediately reminded him of his father. “You were here every day and had your office to deliver the news to all of France,” he captioned a photo of the TF1 tower at night.
