After being examined at the hospital for several hours, Anaïs was taken home by Lisandro. She slowly wakes up and apologizes to her old friend for scaring her by immersing herself in the water. She says she doesn’t want to die but has a voice in her head telling her to swim as much as possible.
Kelly hasn’t been working since Tony’s negative paternity test. She begs her mother to give her father’s last name and phone number. Faced with her daughter’s distress, Laëtitia surrenders. Kelly later discovers that her father is Thomas Lacroix, a well-known baker.
David is waiting for Anaïs when he returns to the institute. He takes the opportunity to make a declaration of love to her and tell her that he misses her for the 6 years they haven’t spoken to each other. She admits that her choking forced her to confess her feelings to him. She says she doesn’t have to answer.
Vic, Billie, and Samia discuss the circle and the possibility of inviting a fourth person. Vic insists on inviting Theo, but his friends refuse, especially since he is the principal’s son and Samia has a book containing unknown recipes of revisited great classics dreamed up by the institute’s former students.
Anaïs finds Salomé and bursts into tears in her arms. His best friend offers him to take over his job as a chef at a pop-up restaurant. Anaïs reminds her that she will oppose Teyssier’s return, but Salomé insists.
The circle is reforming
Vic and Billie meet Theo in the kitchen. Vic asks him questions and offers to help him with the recipe. He doesn’t say no and offers to work as a clerk to prepare this dish. He says they will work together for part of the evening. He refuses because he has a date with his friends to reshape the circle. Theo grapples with it, accusing him of preferring to have a sleepover rather than making his way through the kitchen.
Kelly shows Lionel his father’s head. Seeing him unknowingly following in his father’s footsteps behind the stove makes him very emotional and uncomfortable. He curses his mother, who kept this from him, and decides to see his father.
The students can’t wait for Salomé in the pop-up restaurant. They are annoyed by his delay and are surprised to see him arrive with Anaïs, who takes his place as leader. Charlène asks if her father agrees, but Anaïs reshapes her.
Kelly takes her courage and calls her father. He is surprised to hear her and admits that he did not expect her to call. She asks if she called him for a specific reason. He offers to meet her but a cold shower. She quickly tells him that she is overwhelmed with work and has no time for him. She finally admits that she came to see him at her house the next day.
Emmanuel goes to the pop-up restaurant with Chef Meyer and Rose. He insists on the importance of having Salome replace Anaïs, which doesn’t convince the two women. Passing two customers, Teyssier asks them for their opinion and they are very happy, which makes him happy. But when he comes to the restaurant to congratulate Salomé, he discovers Anaïs in the midst of the customers when she fires him. He calls her to the scene.

Vic, Billie and Samia reshape the circle and follow the former students’ instructions for the initiation ceremony. They have to eat what was then one of the hottest peppers in the world. If they appreciate it in the beginning, it’s hard to taste it later. They then enter their worst, unspoken secrets in a jar to seal their union.
Anaïs, summoned by Teyssier, explains why he prepared the menu so poorly. She tells him that everyone experiences tragedies but that all he cares about is the running of the makeshift restaurant. Rose defends Anaïs and decides to impose her choice. She states that she is the director of the master and that the last word will belong to her. Teyssier bows to his decision but says he will not help him if he has an accident. Anaïs is overjoyed and then announces to her brigade that she will be chief again. He takes the opportunity to explain to Enzo why he didn’t tell him anything about his brother.
Kelly announces to her mother that she is going to meet her father. Laëtitia does not appreciate the news and is upset that it happened so quickly. She remembers asking him to have an abortion and not trying to see her in 18 years. Kelly criticizes him for wanting to spoil this important moment for him. Lionel offers to put him on a scooter.
Anaïs confesses to Salomé that she got lost between David and Lisandro. However, she finds it difficult to leave them in limbo and the next day she announces that she wants to make a decision.
