an immature decision
Célia is about to leave the salt marshes to retrieve her belongings from the Institute. Theo calls out to him, asking for explanations about the exam. She claims to be telling him the truth but she insists because she doesn’t believe her sister could be so wrong. Celia admits that she really sabotaged the dessert. He finds his revenge silly and immature and accuses him of ruining his sister’s future. Celia reproaches her for always defending Charlene, reminding her of everything she’s done to her in recent years. Jasmine and Axel try to sneak Bottarga back into commission. They are surprised by Theo and use their mastery treasures to avoid being caught.
Rose gives the list of master classes planned for the master’s degree. But a cold shower for him, his sister tells him that he no longer believes in this new creation. For Clotilde, this master only serves to satisfy the whims of a handful of students, and he doesn’t want the institute to strain its budget for it. Rose defends her project and suggests that some students are very interested in it, and offers to put the funding for later. However, Clotilde does not want to hear anything and wants the establishment of the institute not to exceed 3 years.
Charlène is in the kitchen reworking her dessert. He asked his father to come and taste it. When Teyssier arrives, he refuses to give him another chance and blames him for not watching his enemy closely enough and not tasting all his preparations. He begins to leave the kitchen, but Theo insists on tasting it despite everything, emphasizing that it does not tie him to anything. Teyssier is surprised by his son’s rejection of Célia and gives him a taste of this sweet, which he finds beautiful.
great departure
While Greg, Eliott, and Hortense are talking about their time in 3rd grade in the locker room, Célia comes to clear out her locker. They are surprised that he feels good despite all this history. Eliott asks him if he regrets sabotaging his own food, he assumes even if he doesn’t want to shout from the rooftops. Between his opponent’s failure and his own departure from the Institute, he is happy to have what he wants. Greg takes on Charlène for dragging her down for revenge.
When Jasmine enters the commission, she tells Deva about her “bottarga” mission. They fall for Theo, who has just realized this product is back. He wonders what might have happened and they imply that he didn’t see it because he was too tired or because it was hidden by another product. Clotilde gets Charlène to retake the exam. Célia, taking one of her knives from the kitchen, realizes the second chance offered to her opponent. He challenges the chief by asking why he has no right to retake the exam. Clotilde advises him to talk to Teyssier about this because it is his decision.
Rose tells Antoine about Clotilde’s change of mind, which does not surprise her at all. She says she has to choose between her relationship with her sister and her project. To get her to change her mind, Rose explains to Clotilde that Enzo is also interested in graduate school. The young man acknowledges and agrees that he is tempted by the gourmet bakery/pastry business. But Clotilde is not convinced. Being alone with her older sister, she tells her that she doesn’t want to get the students drunk for a lifetime and makes her realize that she has no legitimacy in the kitchen to make decisions on behalf of the institute. That’s why Rose wants to discredit her father’s business. Célia barged into Teyssier’s office and asked him to explain the fact that unlike Charlène, she didn’t get a second chance. He accuses her of nepotism and replies that even though she hates her husband, she has made the biggest mistake that could be made by stopping the collective work. She finally tells him that she doesn’t want to be a student at the institute anymore and she leaves.
Jasmine and Axel head to the salt marshes to test Ambre and Tom’s table d’hote menu. On the way, they discuss their aspirations for the future, and Jasmine admits her classmates inspire her. He tells his friend that he wants to test the competition at Chef Cardone’s school in Lille, and asks Axel if he’s interested. He tells her that he doesn’t want to leave the area: for him, this will be the Auguste Armand Institute or he will study with his father. He tries to reassure her that the distance will not prevent them from seeing each other.
Constance thanks her husband for the chance he gave Charlène. He asks Théo if he is talking about Célia, but Emmanuel does not hide that he is making fun of the young woman who is already dropping out of school. Charlène joins Célia as commissioner and is delighted with her excellent capture. When he gets a second chance thanks to Theo, who begs his fathers, he slips into it. Célia then asks her boyfriend for an explanation. He is defending his sister. He accuses the Teyssiers of being a mafia whose members will always support each other. She says she left him because she will never change.
