According to some reports, the family will receive more than $1 million for their participation. Peacock did not comment on the alleged payment.

Heuermann is accused of killing Amber Lynn Costello, 27, Melissa Barthelemy, 24, and Megan Waterman, 22, whose remains were found between 2010 and 2011 on Gilgo Beach in Long Island, New York. He is also a suspect in several other cases. Murders in this area.
